みなみかおり
Minamikaori is a medium-season tea variety certified in 1988, developed in Miyazaki Prefecture with Yabukita as the mother plant. It has a characteristic clean and refreshing aroma and slightly stronger bitter-astringent taste than Yabukita. The processed tea has a clear green color with excellent appearance. As a plant, it has strong cold resistance and high resistance to anthracnose and ring spot disease. It is a bud-heavy type with good growth. Cutting propagation is also successful, making it easy to cultivate.
