Description

Okumidori is a late-season variety with budding 11 days later and harvesting 8 days later than Yabukita, making it easy to avoid late frost damage. It has strong tree vigor with an upright tree form. It has many new buds and high yield. The color is dark green, with fresh and clean flavor without defects or peculiarities. It is suitable for cultivation in sencha regions of Tokai, Kinki, and Kyushu, and is expected to spread as a replacement for native varieties.
