Sakimidori

Sakimidori, a new sencha variety registered in 1997, is characterized by vivid color, fresh aroma, and mild taste with sweetness. Buds emerge 2-3 days earlier than Yabukita, advancing the harvest period as an early-season variety. It is high-yielding with high fresh leaf yield, and is expected to have high commercial profitability.
